The City Council of Sitges wants to review the current Citizen Participation Regulation and to develop a new one that will become the main reference in the field of participation mechanisms and policies.
The City Council of Sitges wants to review the current Citizen Participation Regulation and to develop a new one that will become the main reference in the field of participation mechanisms and policies. Currently many of these mechanisms that are already in place (public hearings, councils, popular votes, ...) are covered in the Municipal Organic Regulation (ROM).
The aim is to have a new Regulation for Citizen Participation, updated in terms of contents and regulations, and a modified ROM with regard to the chapters that refer to citizen participation.
To carry out the preparation of the new Regulation, it has been decided to open a participatory process that will allow to gather the opinions and views of the different entities and people involved, both at the technical level and at the citizenry level.
First, a virtual survey will be uploaded on this Participation portal in order to evaluate the operation of the main instruments and participation bodies provided for in the current regulations:
Sectoral councils
Territorial Councils
Participatory processes implemented in recent years
Actions to promote participation promoted by the City Council
Public hearings
Secondly, different participatory work workshops will be held: with municipal technicians, with political groups represented in the City Council and with the participation of entities that are included in the municipal register of entities.

A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.

L'Ajuntament de Sitges té la voluntat de sometre a CONSULTA PÚBLICA PRÈVIA el document informatiu relatiu sobre la revisió i modificaicó del Reglament de Participació Ciutadana, durant un termini de quinze dies naturals
La ciutadania, organitzacions i associacions podre presentar les seves propostes i fer arribar les seves opinions respecte de lamodificació del Reglament de Participiació Ciutadana a través d'aquest portal web.
S'adjnta un informe on se certifica que no consten al·legacions presentades en el període comprés entre 13/12/2021 i el 27/12/2021
L'Ajuntament farà un informe amb les aportacions realitzades exposant els suggeriments rebuts i justificant tècnicament els que es tindran i els que no es tindran en compte.
A documents relacionats es pot trobar el certificat on diu que no hi h cap al·legació ni suggeriment rebut en el períodes comprés entre 13/12/2021 i el 27/12/2021
Fase de redacció del Reglament de Participació Ciutadana que es portarà a aprovació.
El ple de la corporació va aprovar inicialment el text del Reglament de Participació Ciutadana(Opens in new tab).
Des del 15 de desembre fins al 27 de gener es poden presentar reclamacions i suggeriments mitjançant instància genèrica a la Oficina d'Atenció a la Ciutadania.
L'Ajuntament de Sitges en sessió ordinària del Ple municipal de data 30 de novembre de 2022 va aprovar inicialment el nou Reglament de Participació Ciutadana de l’Ajuntament de Sitges. Sotmès a informació pública mitjançant anunci publicat al BOPB de data 13 de desembre de 2022, no s'han presentat al·legacions, per la qual cosa l'esmentat reglament ha esdevingut aprovat definitivament.
