Ordinance maintenance of fire prevention perimeter strips
The City Council of Sitges launches the Ordinance regulating the municipal service for the opening and maintenance of fire prevention perimeter strips.
The City Council of Sitges launches the prior public consultation for the creation of the Ordinance regulating the municipal public service for the opening and maintenance of an outer protection strip around the housing estates, population centers, buildings and facilities locations located in forest land, and maintenance of plots and green areas free of dry vegetation and cleared tree mass, in the same urbanisations.
Citizens and organizations that consider it appropriate can submit their opinions on the aspects raised during 15 calendar days, starting from April 1, through this platform, in the Proposals section and in person , through the submission of an instance to the entry register of the Citizen Service Office, with the aim of collecting the opinion of the most representative citizens and organizations potentially affected by the future rule.

A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.
L'Ajuntament de Sitges posa en marxa la consulta pública prèvia respecte de l’Ordenança reguladora del servei municipal d’obertura i manteniment de les franges exteriors de protecció al voltant de les urbanitzacions i nuclis de població.
La ciutadania i les organitzacions que ho considerin adient, poden remetre les seves opinions sobre els aspectes plantejats durant 15 dies naturals, a comptar des del 1 d'Abril de 2023, a través dels mitjans indicats en el Decret (veure documents relacionats) i a través d'aquesta plataforma, en l'apartat de Propostes.
En aquesta fase de presentació de propostes la ciutadania, organitzacions i associacions que així ho considerin, poden fer arribar les seves opinions respecte de la nova regulació a l'Ajuntament de Sitges mitjançant la formulació de propostes a través d'aquest portal web i físicament a l'OAC o instància genèrica(External link).
Una vegada finalitzat el període de consulta pública prèvia i vist que no s'han recollit suggeriments ni propostes a través d'aquesta plataforma, l'Ajuntament segueix amb el procediment de treball intern.
